Senior Account Executive

Hello! We’re looking for a smart, hardworking senior account executive with a passion for marketing, who can help the account team partner with clients and ensure we are delivering business results across all the marketing experiences we provide.

You will work collaboratively with the strategy, creative and technology teams in identifying the right solutions that will drive better business performance for our client. Where opportunities exist to align the solution across touchpoints (digital media, social, direct marketing, etc.), you will assist the team to apply industry best practices, client data/experiences and value to optimize marketing efforts around our clients’ goals.

  • Possesses understanding of different channels of media, as well as a basic understanding of marketing strategy; offers recommendations accordingly
  • Knows the fundamentals of a client’s business (brand guidelines, product details, pricing, offers, business economics, customer insights, marketing channels, and competitive analysis); uses this knowledge to provide creative evaluation input that strengthens on-strategy work
  • Collects results from client for each program executed (where possible), and reports those results back to agency team
  • Demonstrates solid understanding of LIFT’s execution processes (offline, email, digital marketing, etc.)
  • Is able to provide scope of work details for a small project (project assumptions, resources required, budget, schedule, etc.)
  • Takes accountability for day-to-day deliverables from client assignment to execution; project manages in a small team environment
  • Positively represents agency as day-to-day contact for clients
  • Forms strong relationships with day-to-day clients; is viewed as a valuable execution resource and team member
  • Proactively anticipates clients’ needs and follows through on actions to meet these needs
  • Coordinates all activities of small to medium projects autonomously; for more complex projects, does so in a supporting role
  • Is familiar with all interim steps and executional requirements for current projects
  • Proactively provides regular updates to the team on status and issues on projects, either daily (hot sheets) or weekly (status reports)
  • Works with client to generate feedback that is clear, consolidated and directional in nature; documents client feedback appropriately and recognizes when pushback is necessary
  • Highlights to senior leaders any project risks (resource problems, team problems, deliverable issues, client issues, etc.)
  • Is able to actively and independently solve problems to ensure smooth planning and execution of a project within scope, budget, and timeframe
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creates dependable and organized communications; understands clients’ preferences for communications and adjusts channel and level of detail accordingly
  • Constructs clear, concise, error-free communications (written and verbal) that provide details required for a specific audience (internal and client), including clear expectations/action requested, and relevant implications (timing, costs, etc.)
  • Participates and contributes during internal and client meetings, offering value and insight as appropriate
  • Two to four years of experience in an office environment (preferably at a marketing-related company, and ideally at a creative agency)
  • Excellent analytical skills, commitment to a client, and proven ability to manage projects
  • Effective time management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes
  • Amazing communication and verbal skills—you’re articulate, straightforward and engaging
  • A passion for marketing and a drive to do the best work for our clients
  • Ability to identify strategic needs; proactive in nature
