Marketing Strategy

  • Thinks big picture around holistic client business goals – always considers overall client business beyond individual executional projects
  • Understands LIFT’s principles of success and ensures they are applied to every project big or small that we deliver for their lines of business
  • Leader of brand, business, and customer insight in client teams, peer groups and internal meetings
  • Guides actionable creative briefs and strives for more impactful and relevant creative results to help client deliver on their business goals
  • Focus on economic implications, ROI, marketing productivity as well as learning and optimization
  • Manages and mentors junior team members to develop strategic marketing skills, exposing to new channels/ opportunities, when available
  • Continually identifies new business opportunities – large and small – and involves appropriate team members to sell in work
  • Communicates financial updates and discrepancies to clients
  • Actively solves problems and flags broader issues to senior management when necessary
  • Balances client change in direction with teams’ passion for creative excellence, scope/budget constraints, and delivering on the strategy


  • Independently manages and leads teams across multiple clients including managing senior client relationships and overseeing work of junior team members; works effectively with all capabilities
  • Ensures team members across capabilities take personal accountability for on-time, on-budget, quality execution
  • Educates direct reports on the scoping process and provides opportunities for junior level participation in scope of work development
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for costs savings via new process and team structures; proactively identifies process improvements
  • Acts as mentor to junior employees to enable their strategic growth; acts as a motivating and positive role model instilling a passion for improvement
  • Partners with Senior Leadership to plan for future fiscal year(s) and set goals


  • 8+ years’ experience in developing marketing projects, and managing large creative teams and clients
  • Marketing expert –has a deep understanding of customer insights, rational and emotional target needs, segmentation and uses them to drive marketing and creative strategies
  • Process expert – can quickly onboard new members of the team and new clients to expedite efficiency
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing excellent client relationships that drive business results
  • Has poise, confidence and effective delivery of oral presentations – both over the phone and in person
  • Communicates effectively and persuasively at all levels and across all departments
